Setup Instructions

Create a SendGrid API Key

In SendGrid, go to Settings → API Keys and create a new key with Mail Send access.

→Click "Create API Key"
→Name it "InboxEagle"
→Select "Restricted Access"
→Enable "Mail Send"
→Copy the key

Connect to InboxEagle

Paste your API key into InboxEagle's integrations page.

→Go to InboxEagle Settings → Integrations → SendGrid
→Paste your API key
→Click "Connect"

Add InboxEagle to Your Sender Identity

Ensure your SendGrid sending domain is authenticated for accurate reputation tracking.

Import Seed Addresses

Use InboxEagle's seed list in your SendGrid contact database for inbox placement testing.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues & Solutions

API key has insufficient permissions

Recreate the key with "Mail Send" read access. The key needs permission to read bounce and statistics data.

Domain not authenticated

In SendGrid, go to Settings → Sender Authentication and authenticate your sending domain with DKIM.

Warm-up events not syncing

Ensure your SendGrid dedicated IP is in warm-up mode and campaigns are actively sending through that IP.
