Setup Instructions

Create a Braze REST API Key

In Braze, go to Settings → API Keys and create a new key with Email Analytics permissions.

→Click "Create New API Key"
→Name it "InboxEagle"
→Select "Email Analytics" permission
→Copy the API key

Get Your Braze Instance URL

In Braze Dashboard, note your instance URL (e.g., us-01.braze.com).

Connect to InboxEagle

Paste your API key and instance URL into InboxEagle's integrations page.

Add Seed Addresses

Create users in Braze with InboxEagle's seed email addresses for placement testing.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues & Solutions

API key not working

Verify the API key has "Email Analytics" permissions. Check your Braze workspace instance (us-01, eu-01, etc.).

Instance URL incorrect

Go to Braze Dashboard Settings and copy the full instance URL from the browser address bar or settings.

Seed sends not tracked

Ensure seed users are active in Braze and receiving emails. Check that campaigns are using the correct user segments.
